October 7 Remembrance

On October 7, the Dayton Jewish community will come together at the Boonshoft Center for Jewish Culture and Education (CJCE), home of the JFGD, to bring comfort to each other as we mourn and commemorate the lives lost in Israel as a result of the October 7, 2023 attacks and the War in Israel, honor the IDF soldiers, and pray for the hostages and peace. There will be art, videos, singing, prayers, candle lighting, and sharing stories from the previous 365 days, from the perspectives of our friends and family in Israel and here in our community.
